Sheridan Lake
Sheridan Lake is located in the Black Hills about 15 miles west of Rapid City on Highway 385/Sheridan Lake Rd. The easiest way to get there is to take S Highway 16 west out of Rapid City till it intersects with Highway 385 and go north a couple of miles. The lake is about 375 acres and offers two swimming beaches, a marina, two campgrounds, and plenty of fishing, picnic areas, and hiking opportunities.
