Roughlock Falls Trail
The falls are located in Spearfish Canyon and easily accessible by road or you can park in the parking lot just west of Spearfish Canyon Lodge and take a beautiful 1 mile hike to the falls. There are picnic areas and restroom facilities. The creek above the falls is a great place to dip your toes in on a hot day or the kids can enjoy splashing around. This is probably one of the most popular areas in the hills but can only be accessed in the winter time by walking the trail since the road is closed for snowmobiles only. These pictures start at the trail just west of the Spearfish Canyon Lodge and go to the falls.
