Wrinkled Rock Climbing Area

Wrinkled Rock Climbing Area is just west of Mount Rushmore on Highway 244. It is a pretty cool area, and families will love the different trails and all the rocks that kids can play on. There are several climbing routes for those who love to climb, and there is a toilet facility on site. People can camp for free for 14 days near the trailhead, and there are some pretty nice spots for tents. When we were there, there were several people climbing. Not only did we enjoy exploring the area, but we also found the trail to Old Baldy Mountain behind Mount Rushmore and hiked that as well which was really cool.
