White Rocks From Van Buren Street

As part of the new trail system in Deadwood, we took a different way up to White Rocks. We parked at the Mickelson Trailhead in Deadwood, and walked across the street. We then headed up Harrison Street, took a right on Van Buren Street, and then up the steep hill. Different routes are available, and the trails are not marked yet, but it is hard to get lost. After going up to White Rocks, we walked a steep side trail back down to the cemetery, and then the road back to our car. Great views of Deadwood, and not many people on the trail.
