Wasta
Wasta is a town in Pennington County about 40 miles east of Rapid City. The town is near the Cheyenne River and the I-90 information centers. There is not much in the town except a post office, a museum, a motel, a bar, and a campground. There are a lot of abandoned buildings in the town as well.
The Wasta Hotel, located at Ash and B streets in Wasta is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
