Valley View Trail/South Side Trail

The Valley View Trail runs between the Red Beds Trail and the South Side Trail. It is only .06 miles long. The trail follows alongside the prairie dog town and the Belle Fourche River. The trail is flat and easy and is only really used by campers that want to hike directly to the Red Beds Trail from their campsite at the Belle Fourche Campground.

The South Side Trail is from the Valley View Trail to the other start of the Red Beds Trail which starts across the road and leads to Devil’s Tower. This trail is also .06 miles and can be used as a loop around the prairie dog town with the Valley View Trail.
