Whitewood Creek Trail In Deadwood

This is a beautiful paved trail that starts down by the Deadwood’s Welcome Center on Main St and goes east to the fairgrounds following Whitewood Creek the whole way. We went here when it was in the high 90’s and it was a very refreshing walk with plenty of places to go down by the creek to cool off. This was a great place to take the dog on a hot day and he had access to plenty of water to drink and play in.

Walking the trail to the west.

Nice paved path the whole way - nice break from the business of Deadwood.

Just couldn’t believe all the wildflowers we saw. Just gorgeous.
