Sundance, Wyoming

Sundance, Wyoming is a small town just west of the South Dakota border off of Interstate 90. It was established in 1875 as a trading post. The Sundance Kid took the town’s name as a nickname when he was arrested for a theft he committed in town in 1887. It was the only time he was ever incarcerated.
