Sturgis, South Dakota

Sturgis, South Dakota was founded in 1878 and is located off Interstate 90 on the western side of the state. There were over 7000 people living here as of 2020. Sturgis is noted as being the location for one of the largest annual motorcycle events in the world. The rally usually starts on the first Friday in August and goes for about 10 days. The small town of Sturgis then becomes flooded with people from all over the world as they get to enjoy amazing concerts, events, rides, and vendors. The town is also located in the Black Hills and close to Deadwood, Spearfish, and Rapid City.
