Sturgis Rally

Sturgis Rally is a motorcycle rally that hits the small town of Sturgis every year for a week in the beginning of August.  Thousands of motorcycles are seen throughout the Black Hills of South Dakota and the surrounding towns. The 75th brought close to a million visitors. The rally is very unique and brings big bands like Foreigner, Lynard Skynard, Styx, and Kid Rock just to name a few. Every year it is different. There are also a lot of free concerts at the locals bars that are quite good. At times the rally can be dirty/raunchy especially later at the bar scenes, but walking around the streets you will see quite a few interesting things. It is something that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime especially if you ride a motorcycle, or enjoy people watching.

The town of Sturgis is closed down for just motorcycles - When we went it was over 6 blocks.
