Stavkirke Church - Chapel In The Hills

The Chapel In The Hills is an exact replica of the Borgund Stavkirke Church built around 1150 in Norway. The church is located just west of Canyon Lake off of Chapel Lane on 30 acres of well landscaped lawns. There is also a little prayer trail that leads up the hill behind the church, a museum, and a store. Visiting the church is free and the church is used for weddings and photo ops. During the summer the church is usually open to get a viewing inside. The church also has a summer worship service from 730 to 800 pm on Wednesday, Saturdays, and Sundays.
