Sled Haus
We tried out the Sled Haus in Lead, South Dakota last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The bar/restaurant was very cool inside with awesome decorations and art on the walls. The atmosphere was very peaceful, the lighting perfect, and our waitress was very friendly. There is a bunch of different options to sit and relax either at the bar or the restaurant. We got there around 4 pm on a Saturday and hit happy hour which was fantastic. Usually most businesses don’t honor happy hour on the weekends. The drinks and food had special prices. I got a large stout draft beer for $4.00, a wurst board for $9.00, and a plate of garlic parmesan fries for $7.00. The food was amazing and fed us both. There is outdoor seating that would be fun in the summertime. They are only open Tuesday through Saturday 12 pm to 8 pm and only take cash and checks. This is definitely one of my favorite new spots now and a cool place to take visiting family.
