Saint Ambrose Catholic Cemetery

Saint Ambrose Cemetery is a 3.9 acre Catholic cemetery that was founded in 1880 and the last plot was sold in the 1950s. This is the resting place of some of the families that built Deadwood and it is a very beautiful cemetery high on the hill overlooking the town.

Getting to the cemetery is kind of hard since there is really no parking. The best way is to park is at the large lower parking lot on Main Street and walk up the hill to the cemetery. You need to get to Burnham Ave and turn left on Pleasant Street and walk up the hill to the main gate.

Just a beautiful view.

What a beautiful angel overlooking the town.

Pretty views on all sides.
