Rockerville

Rockerville is a small unincorporated community in Pennington County just west of Rapid City. Rockerville was founded in 1876 and part of the gold rush of the Black Hills. Today Rockerville still stands with a bar, a lodge, and some old cabins which are pretty neat to photograph. Rockerville is also just east of Coon Hollow and Storm Mountain which has access to a lot of hiking and biking trails.

To get to Rockerville travel on S Highway 16 about 13 miles west of Rapid City.
