Canyon Lake Park
Canyon Lake Park is one of the oldest city parks in Rapid City and consists of 29 acres. The park has several picnic areas, a fishing bridge, paddle boat rentals and lots of playgrounds. There is a gazebo in the middle of the lake on an island which is pretty to visit. There are also little streams and small lakes throughout the park. The park is located on the west side of town at Jackson Blvd and Park Drive.
Pretty to walk around the lake in the winter.

The idea is simple: a couple crosses the bridge and puts a padlock on a section of the chain link fence. The lock represents their love, and it will stay there for all of eternity. They then dramatically hurl the keys to the lock into the body of water under the bridge. This is the bridge on Chapel Lane Rd just west of the park.
In one of the picnic shelters.
