Pringle Trailhead to Harbach Park Trailhead in Hill City

Milepost 32.1 to milepost 44.5 or vice versa.

We biked the Mickelson Trail starting at the Pringle Trailhead at milepost 32.1 and went to the White Elephant Trailhead at milepost 35.7. We then turned around and got our truck and parked it at the White Elephant Trailhead and continued on to milepost 44.5 at the Harbach Park Trailhead in Custer. This shortened up the long ride and gave us a break. It was a very enjoyable ride and not too hard. The trail from the White Elephant Trailhead was prettier and went into the trees more. Once in Custer we stopped at the Mt. Rushmore Brewing Company and had a beer before our bike ride back. Another suggestion is to bring a lunch and have a picnic at the park.

Ready for a fun day.

Lots of cool buildings along the way.

The prettiest bird.

Don’s see anything in the distance.
