Crossing the bridge from Fort Pierre to Pierre, South Dakota.

Pierre

Pierre is the capital city in the state of South Dakota. It has around 14,000 people as of the 2020 census. It has the 2nd least amount of population for a capital city in the United States, and is 7th in population in the state of South Dakota. It is a beautiful city and has a lot of history. There is a lot to do for those who love the outdoors and hunting seasons are very popular in Pierre. The state capital is open for those who want to explore the hallways on their own. The outdoor grounds are amazing with plenty of statutes and dedications to those who served this wonderful state.
