Museum Of Geology
The Museum of Geology is located at the School of Mines in downtown Rapid City. The museum is free to the public and is a pretty cool place to visit. They have mounted dinosaur skeletons, rare fossils, mineral displays, activities for the kids, and a gift shop. This is a perfect way to spend an afternoon and they even have scavenger hunts for the kids.
