Lower Mirror Lake
Lower Mirror Lake is inside the McNenny State Fish Hatchery which is just northwest of the city of Spearfish. The hatchery is owned and operated by the SDGFP and provides for salmon and trout for stocking in the surrounding area of the Black Hills. There are 2 lakes inside the hatchery which are easy to get to. Both lakes are very pretty with nice background scenery.
Pretty clear water.
Saw an otter swimming.
Saw an eagle as we were leaving the fish hatchery.
