Legion Lake Campground Trail
There is a small trail at the end of Legion Lake Campground that is a good workout/after dinner hike. It is around 1 mile and goes up pretty steep and then connects back with the Centennial Trail to the campground. The campground host called it the “huffer buffer” trail, and it is a great place to walk the dog, and burn some calories. There is some scenery, but mostly it is covered by trees.
Up and up you go.
Get a little bit of a view.
At the top, now time to go down, which was pretty steep at times.
Hook up with the Centennial Trail - the campground is a short walk back from this sign.
