Lead Trailhead Spur

At milepost 103.7 to Lead or vice versa.

The Lead Trailhead is a .8 mile spur that goes from the Mickelson Trail between the Kirk Trailhead and the Sugarloaf Trailhead north to the town of Lead. At the end is a small park and some interesting information about Lead. There is a pit toilet, picnic tables, and some old mining equipment to explore.

You need to cross the highway to get to the Lead Trailhead.

Up you go.

Possibly start of a local trail?

Love to see signs of the old railroad.

Can see the town of Lead below.

Fire station in Lead.

Heading back down to the main trail.
