Englewood Trailhead to Sugarloaf Trailhead

Milepost 98.5 to milepost 103.3 or vice versa.

When coming from Englewood Trail north or coming from the Kirk Trailhead south there are 2 different ways to continue onto the Mickelson Trail. Both offer great views and interesting things to see and around milepost 100.5 they meet up again and continue on. This section we went from Englewood Trail and took the trail that goes to the left to the Sugarloaf Trailhead.

(For this section of the trail we actually just walked from the Sugarloaf Trailhead to where the 2 trails meet for a total of 5.5 miles total around milepost 100.5.) We had already rode from Englewood Trailhead to Kirk Trailhead and did not want to repeat most of that trail going to the Sugarloaf Trailhead. My pictures show us walking uphill. If coming from Englewood Trailhead you will mostly be going downhill.
