Custer State Park Visitor’s Center
The Custer State Park Visitor’s Center is located at the junction of US Hwy 16A and Wildlife Loop Road. It is right across from the State Game Lodge Campground. The center is open year-round and is a great starting point for all of your adventures. Along with displays about the area, there is a 100-seat theater which airs a 20 minute movie every 30 minutes. Special hours are below.
Memorial Day - Labor Day: Open 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.
Labor Day - September 30: Open 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
October 1 - Memorial Day: Open 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. 7 days a week.
Closed: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

The Visitor’s Center has a lot of activities all year round including special hikes, caching through the snow, winter and summer trail challenges, and the festival of trees at Christmas time.
