Cottonwood Springs Lake

Cottonwood Springs Lake is in Fall River just west of Hot Springs off Highway 18. The lake is near the Cottonwood Springs Campground. The lake was built in 1969, encompasses 36 acres, is a manmade lake, and was built to help with flood control. It is a great place to relax, fish, kayak, picnic, and just enjoy a little quiet time.

Lots of wildflowers in the area.

Bunch of fisherman and people kayaking.

No luck fishing.

On top of the dam.

Not sure what this is suppose to be.

On the other side of the dam.

Nice play area and shelter for picnics.

Some of the wildlife and birds we saw at the lake.
