Cook Lake Campground

Cook Lake Campground is a little campground near Alva, Wyoming. It is near Cook Lake and surrounded by trees. The campground is small, but the spots have a lot more privacy than most. It is a little hard to get to, and one must travel 10 miles or more on a dirt road. The road is also pretty narrow at times, and can be scary when other cars or campers approach. We really enjoyed our time there, and walked the lake, did the Cliff Swallow Trail, and visited some surrounding sites. We will definitely be back.

On the way to the campground - it follows the lake for a bit.
