Chris’ Camp

Chris’ Camp is located in Spearfish right off I-90 Exit 14. Although it is pretty much located in town, it is still secluded and has over 100 spots for RVs, tents, and several types of cabins located throughout the property. When we were there we heard coyotes, saw a beautiful full moon, and had complete silence except for the occasional loud vehicle going by on the interstate. The hosts were very nice - The woman at the desk asked us what type of spot we were looking for and then proceeded to circle all the possible spots we might like. We then got on a golf cart and was personally shown each spot until we decided where we wanted to camp for the weekend. When our spot did not have a firepit, the owners brought us one. I’m sure this personal service would be more limited in the summertime, but it was very refreshing to get such great service. The grounds have 2 pools, nice bathrooms and showers (the showers cost a quarter), and a place to do laundry. The spots also have full hookups, and large areas to pull in your RV. It is a very nice campground.
