Chautauqua Park

There are 2 parks next to each other - Upper Chautauqua and Lower Chautauqua Park. Both parks are beautiful and have a playground, picnic tables, and outdoor grills. The upper park has a restroom. There is a short trail that starts at the upper park, follows the river, crosses the bridge, and goes a little way up the hill. I was pleasantly surprised with this park. It has something for everyone, and would be a fun place to visit in the summer to wade in the water. The park is off Hot Brook Canyon Road just northwest of Evans Plunge in the town of Hot Springs.

Upper Chautauqua Park.

Nice place to wade in the summer.

Neat little cave.

Interesting - saw no one who needed help.

Lots of bird nests on the rocks above.

Path up by the rocks led to this small hidden waterfall.

Interesting - stairway to heaven???

Lots of rock walls.

Nice picnic shelter and playground.

Start of path that follows the river.

Lower Chautauqua Park.

Interesting.

Cool rocks to explore.
