Cedar Hill Cemetery
Cedar Hill Cemetery is a gorgeous historic cemetery in Fort Pierre. It has a lot of really cool older headstones and is in a beautiful setting overlooking the valley and Missouri River. It is the final resting area for a lot of interesting people including veterans of WWI, WWII and the Civil War. There are prospectors, murder victims, outlaws, historic leaders, and many children’s graves. It is one of my favorite cemeteries.
