Carr/Ward Cemetery
The Carr/Ward Cemetery is a small family cemetery in Lawrence county south of Spearfish Canyon. There are only 12 subjects buried there and not much is known about the family.
To get to the cemetery take Hanna Rd just south of Cheyenne Crossing off of Highway 85. When you get to Long Draw Road go just under 4 miles on it until you reach the cemetery. The cemetery is just off the side of the road and can be seen from the road. There is a short steep hill down to the cemetery.
