Bismarck Lake
Bismarck Lake is off Highway 16A just east of the town of Custer, or outside the southwest side of Custer State Park. The lake is at 5,000 feet and is among aspen groves and Ponderosa pines. There is a campground on site that has widely spaced spots that open up to nice views of the lake. The sites accommodate tents, RVs and trailers, but there are no electrical hook-ups available. This lake is a favorite for fisherman and require a daily fee if using for the day, unless you are there camping.
