Bear Mountain Fire Tower
Bear Mountain Fire Tower is located southwest of Hill City and northwest of Custer off Bear Mountain Lookout Road. When we went there it was being manned by Paul who let us come in and visit with him. It was cool to see inside the fire tower and talk about the different fire towers in the area. Paul and I had also had grown up just 1 hour from each other in Ohio, so we got to talk about our life back there. What a small world.
