Beals Cemetery/ #1 Vale Cemetery is located about 2 miles west of Vale on Vale Cutoff Road near SD Highway 79. It is a small cemetery with several tombstones from the 1800’s. It is one of my favorite cemeteries. There are a lot of children buried here and a couple of cool fences surrounding the tombstones. This is also a Butte County Historical site.
