Annie Creek Falls

Annie Creek Falls is a really small falls in Spearfish Canyon. To get there you need to take Annie Creek Falls Road and hike a little less than a mile in to get to the falls. The falls are not that impressive and a slightly dangerous area. The hike itself is easy, but when you take the small path down to the top of the falls, there are no guard rails, sharp drop-offs, and the views aren’t that great of the falls. You can walk down to the falls, but the slight paths from the top look hard and not really worth it. I would use extreme caution if bringing my kids or pets to this area. I was turning around and hit a branch in the face almost knocking me off a cliff. Also the whole cliff area is covered in small bushes and grass making it hard to see where the cliffs actually start.

Park here and walk in.

Nice easy path follows a road the whole way.

Old railroad ties.

Path that veers off to the top of the falls.

Looking back up to the main path.

Sharp drop offs around the cliffs.

Looking down at the falls.
